Marianne
Educational Consultant & Mindful Mentor
I am a certified teacher and counsellor‑in‑training based in Vancouver, specializing in executive functioning, academic skills, and school navigation. My work is shaped by years of experience across multiple school districts and in a private school of the arts, where project‑based learning allowed students to explore ideas creatively and collaboratively. These diverse environments taught me how different school settings can either support or overwhelm a learner — and they deeply inform my approach today.
Â
Throughout my career, I’ve supported many neurodiverse students and worked closely with parents to create systems that help their children feel capable, organized, and understood. As a teacher, I have been part of the IEP process and understand how accommodations, communication, and collaboration come together to support a student’s success. I’ve also completed additional teacher training that strengthened my understanding of learning, development, and executive functioning.

I’m someone who naturally brings calm to chaos — whether it’s a messy backpack, a confusing school portal, or a stressful academic transition. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every learner deserves to feel confident, supported, and equipped with tools that truly work for them.
